The Nassau Dog Training Club (NDTC) is a NYS domestic not-for-profit that has been in existence since 1947. A member of the American Kennel Club (AKC), we are comprised of a dedicated group of dog enthusiasts focused on teaching people how to train their dogs to be good canine citizens.
We are located in Franklin Square, Long Island (Nassau County) and conveniently accessible from Garden City, Stewart Manor, New Hyde Park, Floral Park, Elmont and the surrounding areas of Queens and Suffolk County.
Our instructors have many years of experience in obedience and rally training. One advantage of training with an obedience club is that you get the assistance and expertise of a professional staff as well as other club members.
Our classes have been carefully developed to let you learn and train at your own pace, no matter your individual goals or whether you have had any prior training.
Dogs of all types (purebred and mixed breeds), sizes, and ages come together and benefit from the experience cultivated by the Nassau Dog Training Club.

Training Quick Facts
Nassau Dog Training Club classes are available in Beginner, Pre-Novice and Novice levels.
Sessions last 8 weeks.
Classes meet once a week for 1/2 hour.
We welcome both purebred and mixed breeds!
No more than 10 dogs in a class.
Dogs do not need to be AKC registered to attend class.

To be admitted into a Nassau Dog Training Club course, you must complete our registration form and email it -- along with your dog's vaccination records -- to nassaudogtrainingclub@gmail.com.
You may also mail them to Liz Shannon, Class Coordinator, 4 Seventh Street, Valley Stream, NY 11581.
Dogs must be at least 4 months old. For detailed information, see our Programs page.
(You may bring payment ($160 for new beginners) to the first day of class.)
Nassau Dog Training Club supports AKC Reunite and AKC Pet Disaster Relief.
